Novel YBO3 Phosphors Doped with Ln3+ (Ce3+, Tb3+, Eu3+) Ions with Tunable Color for WLED Applications

In this work, YBO3 phosphors doped with Ln3+ (Ce3+, Tb3+, Eu3+) ions were synthesized by a facile hydrothermal method using high temperature and pressure environment. Structural property characterizations show all the samples have similar spherical morphology hexagonal crystal structure good crystallinity. PL spectra CIE calculation that color of can be easily controlled species atomic content ions. White is achieved as contents are: 1% Ce3+, 3% 0.5% Eu3+, respectively. Furthermore, LED devices based on ultraviolet chip fabricated characterized, results clearly demonstrated tunable as-prepared phosphors. At same time, co-doping Eu3+ well adjust fluorescence lifetime three rare earth through energy transfer. These phosphor has broad application prospects in field display lighting such LED.
